What’s covered

If we did the work, the warranty applies.

Coverage runs across the full workshop. Parts and labour both. The exact period varies by job and is noted on each certificate — common defaults below.

Transmission rebuild

Full rebuild work covered on parts and labour, with a generous mileage and time period. The most thorough warranty we offer.

12 months / 20,000 km

Replacement transmission

Whether new, remanufactured or quality-used, replacement units installed by us are covered for fit, function and supply.

12 months / 20,000 km

Torque converter

Daily-driver, heavy-duty and performance converter rebuilds — with the same coverage period as the transmission they pair with.

12 months / 20,000 km

Targeted repair

When the fix is a specific component — a solenoid, a sensor, a valve body — the repair is covered against early failure.

6 months / 10,000 km

Electrical repair

Wiring, harness, sensor and TCM work carries warranty on labour and parts. Fault returns inside the period are diagnosed at no charge.

6 months / 10,000 km

OEM parts (fitted)

OEM parts that we supply and fit carry the manufacturer’s warranty plus our labour cover. Quality-used parts carry our workshop cover.

3–12 months by part

Periods shown are typical defaults. The actual coverage on your job is written on the certificate at handover — ask before approval if a longer period is needed for fleet or commercial use.

The certificate

A document. Signed and dated. Yours to keep.

The warranty isn’t implied or assumed — it’s a printed certificate handed over when you collect the car. Below is what it contains. If something on the actual document is unclear, we’ll explain it before you accept the keys.

  • Vehicle & transmission Make, model, year, VIN and transmission code.
  • Work performed Specific job covered — rebuild, repair, service, replacement — with itemised parts.
  • Coverage period Time and mileage limits, whichever is reached first.
  • Signed & dated By a senior technician on the workshop floor — on the day of collection.
Conditions of cover

A short list of asks — nothing surprising.

The warranty stays valid as long as the transmission is used as intended and serviced on schedule. Most of the time, this is just normal car ownership.

  • 01

    Use as intended

Daily driving and the load class the car was designed for. Severe-duty use is covered when the build was specified for it — ask before pushing limits.

  • 02

    Service on schedule

Recommended fluid changes done on time — with us, or anywhere else with proof of service. Skip the service, the cover lapses.

  • 03

    No third-party tampering

If another workshop opens the gearbox during the cover period, our warranty ends there. Bring it back to us first — even for diagnosis.

  • 04

    Keep the certificate

The original document with the certificate number is what triggers the cover. Lost it? Call us — we keep records on file.

If something does go wrong

A claim takes one phone call to start.

We’d rather know early than late. If the transmission isn’t behaving the way it should, call — even if you’re not sure it’s warranty-related. Diagnosis is free regardless.

01

Call the workshop

Quote your certificate number, or just the registration. We’ll pull the file and book you in — usually same week.

02

Bring the car

Walk-in or by appointment. Don’t take it apart yourself or have anyone else inspect it — both can void the warranty.

03

Free Multi-Check

We diagnose to confirm the cause. If the fault sits inside the warranty scope, we proceed with no charge to you.

04

Repair under cover

Parts and labour for in-scope faults are covered. We’ll explain anything outside scope clearly, in writing, before any chargeable work.
