Why fluid matters

Transmission fluid does four jobs at once.

Engine oil lubricates. Transmission fluid does that — and three other things, all critical, all degrading the moment they leave the bottle.

  • 01

    Lubricates

Coats clutch packs, planetary gears, bearings and bushings under high pressure and continuous load.

  • 02

    Cools

Carries heat away from the torque converter and clutches to the cooler. In UAE traffic this is the fluid’s hardest job.

  • 03

    Transmits hydraulic force

Every shift, every clutch engagement and every pressure decision the valve body makes — all rely on the fluid being clean and at spec.

  • 04

    Cleans

Suspends wear particles, friction debris and varnish, carrying them to the filter where they can be trapped out of circulation.

Pick the right service

Four service options — we’ll help you choose.

Not every transmission needs a full exchange every visit. We’ll inspect the fluid, check pressures and recommend the option that’s right for the car — not the most expensive one.

Basic

Drain & Fill

The essentials — old fluid out, fresh fluid in. Best for cars with recent service history or low mileage.

  • Drain plug removed, old fluid drained
  • Drain plug reinstalled with seal
  • Refilled with manufacturer-spec ATF to level
  • Visual leak inspection

Note: a drain & fill alone replaces roughly half of the fluid in the system. The torque converter retains the rest.

Filter

Filter Replacement

The pan comes off, the old filter goes in the bin, and the new one goes in clean. Recommended at least every other service.

  • Transmission pan removed and cleaned
  • Old filter replaced with new OEM unit
  • Old gasket scraped, new gasket fitted
  • Refilled with manufacturer-spec ATF to level
  • Pan inspected for debris — a useful health check
Combined

Exchange + Filter

Everything from the full exchange, plus a fresh filter and pan gasket. The most complete preventive service we offer.

  • Full circuit exchange (gearbox, converter, cooler)
  • Pan removed, inspected and cleaned
  • New OEM filter fitted
  • New pan gasket installed and torqued to spec
  • Refilled, temperature-checked and road tested
When to come in

A simple rule of thumb — with a UAE adjustment.

Manufacturer service intervals are a starting point, not a finish line. We’ll always check the fluid before we charge for a service.

40,000 km

Standard interval

For light, mostly highway driving in cooler conditions. Drain & fill, or fluid exchange if it’s been a while.

25-30,000 km

UAE severe duty

Daily city traffic, summer heat, occasional towing. Most cars in the Emirates fall here — full exchange recommended.

By condition

Fleet & commercial

Taxis, vans, and 4WDs in heavy use. We’ll set up an interval based on the vehicle’s actual workload.

Don’t know when your transmission was last serviced? Bring it in. We can usually tell from the fluid in five minutes.

Book a service

Spend a little now, or a lot later.

A full transmission service costs a fraction of a rebuild — and routinely doubles the life of a healthy gearbox. Walk-ins welcome; most services are completed the same day.
